Face Mask + Essential Oils = Best Idea Ever!

Now that wearing face masks has become the norm, we’re all looking for ways to improve the experience. From fun designs to lanyards to keep them close, we’ve found great ways to make wearing face masks more comfortable. A new way to improve your mask-wearing life is to add essential oils to the mix. Intrigued? Read on to learn more!

Essential oils are used in skincare products, candles, and diffusers around the world for their therapeutic benefits. A new way to experience these benefits is to add essential oils to your face mask, using a carrier oil to dilute the oil’s potency. We recommend using Skinny Coconut OIl to guarantee the purity of the oils you will be breathing.

Adding essential oils to your face mask has several benefits. One major benefit is supplying yourself with a pleasant smell throughout the day, instead of your own breath. Another reason to add essential oils to your mask is the ability to breathe in the oils throughout the day, prolonging the therapeutic benefits of the essential oils.

Directions:
Mix 1 tsp of Skinny Coconut Oil per 2 drops of oil in a glass bottle. Top with a spray top or dropper top. To use:

With spray top bottle: Apply 2 sprays of mixture to the outside of your mask.

With dropper bottle: apply 3 drops of mixture to the outside edges of your mask.

Depending on what your typical day looks like, you might want oils that energize, relax, or encourage creative thought. We recommend any of these blends:

Wake Up Blend

  • 5 drops Lemon Essential Oil
  • 3 drops Peppermint Essential Oil
  • 4 tsp Skinny Coconut Oil

Energy Blend

  • 6 drops Sweet Orange Essential Oil
  • 2 drops Eucalyptus Essential Oil
  • 4 tsp Skinny Coconut Oil

Relax Blend:
